Materials for the tool industry are produced in our plants in Sweden, Denmark and Austria. We have developed the following four main production processes for tool steel:

• Conventional
• Electroslag remelting (ESR)
• Powder metallurgy
• Spray forming

Throughout our history we have been among the first to develop and adopt new production processes and technologies. Recently, for example, we introduced spray forming in tool steel production, and we are the first to offer this new type of material.

Sophisticated technology is used to control the entire production process. It ensures that every material is produced to its specification, which in turn guarantees our customers a continuous supply of high-quality materials.
